My Role
Over the years, Thoughtcloud has gained its prestigious reputation of being the social connection app between students and teachers of all field, especially their app feels like any other social media app where you can educate yourself in any field possible.
I collaborated with Thought Cloud as a Product Designer in my job in OneKode to enhance social and educational interactions in their app. I focused on improving user engagement, finding problems that their users getting and designing the best solution for those problems.

Problem # 1
Users struggled to find and connect with qualified mentors for personalized guidance, as chat-based interactions often went unanswered due to lots of candidates asking an expert, causing frustration and hindering their learning and professional growth.
This lack of access to specialized expertise left users without effective solutions to their specific problems.
A student comes onto the app to learn about UX Design and finds many resources there but wants to talk with an expert in his field. But when he/she messages the experts on app, the message never gets seen for many days cause so many learners ask so many questions to that expert/
IMPACT
With no specialized guidance, users tend to not use the app and spend less time on it.
Also with no defined journey after learning about some field they wanna learn about, users easily get lost which leads to low conversion.

Users as experts struggled to reply to all the questions, they got from different learners about their field.
Also they don't have any motivation to solve everyone's problem.
An expert got too many questions in chat, it would be difficult for him to solve everyone's problem without any motivation.
IMPACT
Due to this frustration, experts tend to not use the app and spend less time on it.
